DIY CONCRETE DISTORTION

The DIY Concrete Distortion is a "flat-pack" DIY version of the original concrete RAT based distortion with a few changes. As per the original - an internal voltage doubler takes the standard 9V centre negative power and doubles it to 18V for increased headroom. The OPA7 IC is still utilised here providing the classic low slew rate RAT drive sound.

Two additional sliders replace the original mod switches. One controlling a blend between two clipping modes (Stock & UV LED).The second puts the Ruetz bass mod on a variable resistor which gives more range on the high frequencies than the original switched mod.

This Kit presumes the user is comfortable with soldering and component identification and may be suited to someone who has already taken on a very simple project first.

If Sourcing your own components please ensure all Capacitors and the OPA7 IC are rated to take 18v or above.
